On March 18, 2022, an online meeting "Coordination of education psychologists and units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in providing social and psychological assistance to the population" was held - psychological assistance to the affected population, all participants of the educational process (students, teachers, parents).

The meeting was attended by 88 people, including: representatives of the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Centre for Practical Psychology and Social Work of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, head of the psychological service of the SES of Ukraine, heads / directors of regional, Kyiv city educational and methodical centres / offices / laboratories, employees of district / city inclusive resource centres, practical psychologists of educational institutions and psychologists of territorial bodies (subdivisions) of civil protection.

The following issues were discussed during the online meeting:

functioning of the psychological service of the education system of Ukraine during hostilities - psychosocial support of participants of the educational process and the population;

psychological protection of the population as a component of state policy in the field of civil protection;

coordination of psychological protection of the population of the SES of Ukraine and the UNMC of practical psychology and social work of the NAES of Ukraine;

organization of online training (exchange of experience) of psychologists of the education system in the direction of providing social and psychological assistance during hostilities.

The participants unanimously approved the proposal to unite the efforts of the psychological services of the education system and the SES in providing social and psychological assistance to the affected population, all participants of the educational process.
