During a Meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the prospects for joint scientific, pedagogical and psychological activities were discussed and a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was signed.

The Memorandum was concluded with the aim of interaction and coordination of efforts to create the conditions necessary for the participants of the educational process to realize their abilities and talents, using innovative technologies in the educational process to solve urgent issues of the development of education and science in Ukraine, creating conditions for professional self-realization of the individual based on respect, honour and dignity of every citizen of Ukraine.

Cooperation is envisaged in the following key areas:

• conducting joint scientific research (papers, projects, technical tasks, etc.) in the field of military psychology and pedagogical education and other scientific fields of mutual interest;
• participation in scientific and methodological support of psychosocial assistance in solving problems of social and labour adaptation of combatants, members of their families, members of families of those killed in the war, volunteers and internally displaced persons who found themselves in difficult life circumstances as a result of military actions;
• promotion of improving the quality of educational and professional and educational and scientific programs for training higher education applicants.

On behalf of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Memorandum was signed by the President of the NAES of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen. On behalf of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Head of the Institute Oleksiy Siroshtan.
