The Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies on the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine announced the Laureates of the All-Ukrainian Literary and Artistic Award "Kyiv Book of the Year" - 2026.

The event was held by the Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the European Cultural Assembly, the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, and the Kyiv City State Administration.

The All-Ukrainian Literary and Artistic Award "Kyiv Book of the Year" was established on the initiative of Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Gerasymenko, President of the Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies.

The purpose of the Award is to support creative figures, recognize authors, publishing houses, and representatives of the creative community who have made a significant contribution to the popularization of Ukrainian books, popularize creativity, establish high artistic standards in national writing and literary criticism, and create conditions for creative growth.

Based on the decision of the Expert Council of the Institute of Political, Legal and Religious Studies, the Laureates of the All-Ukrainian Literary and Artistic Award "Kyiv Book of the Year" in 2026 have been determined:

Kremen Vasyl Grigorovich - Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor Philosophy, Professor, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2000-2005), President of the "Znannya (Knowledge)" Society of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technology, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the Field of Education, for the book "Education: Ideas, Reflections, Experience" in five volumes.

Slyusarevsky Mykola Mykolayovych - Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences, Director of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Full Cavalier of the Order of Merit, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technology, Excellent Educationist of Ukraine, for the book "The Devil Hasn′t Said Everything"
