On April 28, a working meeting was held between the leadership of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and representatives of the Corporation "Scientific and Production Association "Environmental Protection Technologies". The focus of the parties is on a strategic partnership to modernize vocational education and ensure the environmental safety of Ukraine.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed key vectors of interaction aimed at combining the scientific potential of the academic institution with the practical experience of the scientific and production association.

 The main areas of future cooperation were identified as:

- conducting applied research in the fields of vocational education, labour protection and technosphere safety; preparation of joint scientific papers and methodological recommendations;

- partnership participation in the development of modern industry professional standards for the real sector of the economy and the labour market;

- joint design and implementation of innovative course training and advanced training programs, as well as scaling digital technologies into the educational process;

- organization of professional internships, industrial practices and visits to the Corporation′s facilities for scientific and pedagogical workers and postgraduate students in order to transfer practical experience;

- formation of a culture of environmental safety and popularization among the public of protocols for safe living in technogenically loaded territories, etc.

Special attention during the discussion was paid to the creation of joint projects that will become the basis for training a new generation of specialists, and the Corporation′s readiness to provide a technological base and expert support for the training of highly qualified personnel.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on signing a memorandum of cooperation. This document will consolidate the specified areas of interaction and lay the legal basis for the implementation of joint projects. The parties also confirmed compliance with the principles of confidentiality and effective information exchange in order to achieve the set goal.

Cooperation between a leading scientific institution and an innovative corporation will be a significant step in strengthening the intellectual and environmental potential of Ukraine.
