On November 17, the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine considered the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the H.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology of the  NAES of Ukraine for 2017-2021 and prospects for its development. In his report Serhiy Maksymenko, Director of the Institute, outlined the Institute′s work aimed at obtaining theoretically and practically significant results in the main areas of psychological science - methodology and history of psychology, personality psychology, learning psychology, psychology of creativity and talent, economic and organizational, cognitive and environmental psychology, psychophysiology and psychodiagnostics.

The Institute is guided by a development strategy corresponding to the Development Strategy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine for 2016-2022, and provides flexibility in defining scientific issues in accordance with the urgent needs of society and innovative development of the country; introduction of complex scientific researches with the involvement of qualified specialists from the scientific divisions of the Institute, institutions of higher education, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
