A nation can existonly when it is endlessly looking for itself,

only when it is constantly evolving…

and strives to match the best that is hidden in it…

Fernand Brodel

Resilience is the ability to remain under the pressure of any circumstances. Both the individual and the country need resilience, because that is what allows them to assert and preserve their own subjectivity.

In the year of the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of its independence, Ukraine is facing unprecedented threats and challenges - a coronavirus pandemic, hybrid wars and global climate changes. It is obvious to assume that the country will have independence only under the condition of national stability, which is demonstrated by both the state and civil society. But what is so resilient in today′s world? Why does it exist, what does it protect?
