Seminars for managers of Higher Education Institutions “Autonomy and Responsibility of HEI”
The new Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" provides a basis for the higher education system reform, the implementation of its new European development paradigm. The value of this Law is difficult to overestimate. According to the Committee`s Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Science and Education Liliya Hrynevych, it creates a legislative framework for the implementation of the Association Agreement in terms of education. According to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhyi Kvit , Ukrainian higher education has overcome the post-Soviet relapse and was in another reality. It`s time to universities to take this opportunity to become finally autonomous.

From how successful will be this Law implementation will depend on the level of trust and willingness of educators to other reforms - in pre-school, secondary, professional and adult education. Implementation of the Law requires clear and common response to the faced challenges.
In the light of this the main task is to join efforts of the academic community to ensure effective implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education".
National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, with the support of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee for Science and Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine jointly with members of the working group to draft the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" initiates a series of seminars for managers of universities “Autonomy and responsibility of HEI" to provide information and explanatory support of the new Law implementation.
National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, with the support of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee for Science and Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine jointly with members of the working group to draft the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" initiates a series of seminars for managers of universities “Autonomy and responsibility of HEI" to provide information and explanatory support of the new Law implementation.
The first workshop in the series will take place on October, 10, which will be broadcast on-line (with technical assistance of education portal "Pedagogichna pressa").
