On June,1 the issues of professional education "Professional education as part of ensuring qualified human resources potential of Ukraine: problems and solutions" were discussed at the Parliamentary hearings in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The event was attended by deputies of Ukraine, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, heads and representatives of the Central Executive authorities, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, regional and city councils, regional state administrations, heads of higher educational institutions of the I-II levels of accreditation, vocational educational institutions, scientific and methodological institutions, public organizations, and employers. The main speakers were the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Hrynevych, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee of Ukraine on Science and Education Olexander Spivakovsky, the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen. 

They discussed current problems and possible ways of their solution: the structure of vocational education, levels of vocational education in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework; ensuring multi-level and multi-channel financing mechanism and improving the system of management of professional education; the development of a network of professional education institutions; improving the quality of vocational education; the state order for training of qualified personnel as a tool of state regulation of priority for state socio-economic needs; the influence on the positive dynamics of changes the number of students, pupils, students at educational institutions of professional education; improving quality assurance of teaching staff of vocational education institutions etc.
