From 03 to 14 July 2015 in the Republic of Korea hosted the XXVIII World Summer Universiade in which, together with 11 thousand participants from 163 countries of the world participated the sport students delegation of Ukraine. Ukraine entrusted to defend the honor of the national students sport to 137 the strongest, the most professional and trained students-athletes.
Within 11 days 272 sets of medals in 21 sports were played. Ukrainian athletes competed in 15 sports disciplines: academic rowing, fencing, sports gymnastics (men), gymnastics, athletics, volleyball (men and women), swimming, judo, handball (women), archery, tennis, football, taekwondo, golf.
Among 163 states-participants Ukraine finished the race at the eighth place with 31 medals: 8 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 6 bronze medals. This is undoubtedly a great success.
