On May 26, the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Institute of information technologies and Teaching Aids, Center for consumer initiatives, awarded students who won the competition on youth consumer testing "Youth tests quality". Consumer education exists in Ukraine for seven years due to the course by choice"Consumer essentials",  that was developed in 2008 in partnership of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Joint EU-UNDP project "Consumer Society and Citizen Networks. Today the course is taught in more than 10 000 secondary schools in all regions of Ukraine.
