On May 20, 2015, in Kyiv, within the frames of the All-Ukrainian Festival of Science, the First Iryna Dmytrivna Zverieva Socio-Pedagogical Readings were held. The event was organized by the Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine together with the Institute of Human Being of the Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University.

Issues discussed: Iryna Dmytrivna Zverieva – Scientist of New Formation (O. Sukhomlynska, I. Bekh, M. Bosenko); methodological positions of social pedagogy development (T. Alieksieienko); protection of social-pedagogical research quality (A. Ryzhanova); securing the child’s best interests as a priority of social-pedagogical work in today’s conditions (Zh. Petrochko) etc. Students of Iryna Zverieva conducted workshops on issues relating to urgent problems in Ukrainian society: prevention of deviations, human trafficking, volunteer programs, and education in conditions of armed conflicts.
