The Celebrations on the occasion of the Science Day was held on May 15 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Representatives of the scientific community welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Education Maksym Strikha. He read out greetings of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Kvit.

Alexander Spivakovsky, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education, welcomed scientists on behalf of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman, head of the Main Department for humanitarian policy of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Yuriy Ruban - on behalf of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. 

The vice-president of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Andriy Gurzhiy took part in the celebration of the Science Day.
