On January 21, 2015 the Round table "Structure of general secondary education in Ukraine" was held. It was initiated by the Presidium, the Department of general secondary education and the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. The subject of discussions was the issue of levels of general secondary education and the task of each of them, the structure of secondary schools, possible variants of complete general secondary education, ensuring continuity between levels of education and others. The Round table was attended by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on science and education L. M., Grinevich, Deputy Minister of education and science of Ukraine P. B. Polyanski, the scientists of the Academy, teaching staff, heads of educational institutions, NGO representatives, all indifferent to the problems of Ukrainian education.
