On June 19, at a meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, a Memorandum of cooperation between the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance was signed.

The parties believe that cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum will contribute to a more effective implementation of the achievements of domestic pedagogical science into the education quality assurance system and will be aimed at promoting the best achievements in the field of education and science.

The need to reform education and science, implement state policy in the field of quality assurance in higher education, educate youth at the latest stage of state-building on the principles of humanism, democracy, freedom, tolerance, academic integrity based on respect, honour and dignity of every citizen of Ukraine encourages more active actions in this direction - and the cooperation of the parties is a significant support for such activities.

The partners will be guided by common interests in order to establish and expand cooperation with scientific institutions and higher education institutions of foreign countries and international organizations in the field of higher education, integration of the domestic system of education and science into the European and global scientific and educational spaces, taking into account the best foreign and national practices. The Memorandum was signed by Vasyl Kremen, the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, and Andrii Butenko, the Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
