On June 12, 2025, as part of cooperation with the Ukrainian Free University (Germany), the leading researcher of the Department of Foreign Professional Education Systems of the Institute of Professional Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Professor Hanna Romanova took part in the seminar for students "Methodology of writing scientific papers" (lecturer - Dr. Peter Giltes). In the report "Methodological aspects of the study "Analysis of pedagogical studies of the Ukrainian Free University in Germany" Hanna Romanova described the methodology of the research project under the DAAD program "The Future of Ukraine: Research Grants for Ukrainian Master′s Students and Researchers".

The speech became the basis for a thorough discussion of issues of ensuring the quality of preparation and defense of master′s theses and dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Germany and Ukraine, as well as the opportunities for students to participate in research grants and projects.
