Meeting of the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine
On June 11, the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl
Kremen met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan
to Ukraine Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliev.
The meeting was attended by Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine
Farid Babayev, First Vice-President of the NAES of Ukraine Volodymyr Lugovyi, Vice-President,
Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of the NAES of Ukraine Oleg Topuzov, Academician-
Secretary of the Department of Professional Education and Adult Education of the NAES of
Ukraine Nella Nychkalo, Director of the Irpin Humanitarian Lyceum "Linguist" named after Zarifa
Aliyeva of the Irpin City Council of the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region Valentina Antonenko.
During the meeting, topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and
Ukraine in the field of education and science were discussed, as well as the intensification of
cooperation between scientific institutions of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of
Ukraine with scientific institutions and higher education institutions of Azerbaijan.
The President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen
informed the Ambassador about the activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of
Ukraine, the main areas of the Academy's activities in the theoretical and methodological support
of the development of the national education system.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the invitation to visit the Academy, an important
scientific centre of Ukraine, to discuss the prospects for cooperation in the field of education and
science of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, which are strategic partners.
The parties expressed mutual interest in establishing cooperation with scientific institutions and
higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as their hope for
establishing fruitful bilateral relations for the development of both countries.
