Memorandum on Cooperation between the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University
On June 5, a Memorandum on Cooperation between the National Academy of EducationalSciences of Ukraine and the Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University wassigned.
The parties concluded this document in order to expand and deepen cooperation, toconduct scientific research on topical problems of modern Ukrainian society, further reformof education and science, support for innovative projects, national and military-patriotic,legal and environmental education of youth at the newest stage of state-building on theprinciples of humanism, democracy, freedom, tolerance, creating conditions forprofessional self-realization of the individual, on the basis of respect, honour and dignity ofevery citizen of Ukraine.
Cooperation will be based on the principles of social responsibility and mutual assistancein implementing the tasks of state educational policy, achieving goals in the field ofnational-patriotic education of children and youth through the formation of universal values,civic responsibility, national identity and tolerance.
Common interests will be taken into account in expanding international cooperation in thefield of education and science, national educational and scientific traditions, improving thequality of educational research and integration into the European and world scientific andeducational space, taking into account the changes caused by European integrationprocesses, based on the principles of mutual understanding, mutual respect and mutuallybeneficial cooperation.
Vasyl Kremen, the President of the NAES of Ukraine, and Maryna Grinyova, Rector of thePoltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, signed the Memorandum.
