The publication substantiates that the development of the e-infrastructure of universities is a key condition for the development of an open science in Ukraine, its successful integration into the European Research Area (ERA) and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The object of the study was the ecosystem of an open science, and the subject was research e-infrastructures of universities for open science. The purpose of the study was to theoretically substantiate the model of the ecosystem of research e-infrastructures of Ukrainian universities. The research used the methods of analysis, synthesis, and generalization of EU documents regarding the EDP, EPPO and the results of scientific developments on the implementation of open science. Using the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the state, problems and tasks of the development of research e-infrastructures in Ukraine were clarified. The modeling method was used to develop a model of the ecosystem of research e-infrastructures of Ukrainian universities. As a result of the study, based on the generalization of UNESCO, EU, European University Association standards, the composition of the main components of the open science ecosystem was determined. The model of the ecosystem of research e-infrastructures of Ukrainian universities is proposed and theoretically substantiated, which was developed taking into account both the existing national research e-infrastructure and the ecosystem of open science and research e-infrastructures of the EU, reflecting the main directions of policy on its formation and development. Proposals for the development of research e-infrastructures of open science of universities in Ukraine have been provided.
