Scientific and practical conference with international participation Ukrainian Psychology. 21st century. Beginning. (Days of Ukrainian psychology in Berlin) April 27-28, 2023. In accordance with the 2023 Work Plan of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

Vasyl Kremin, full member and the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine opened the conference with a speech and greeted the participants of the conference.

Representatives of German psychological societies and universities took part in the plenary session of the conference:

• Siegfried Preiser, professor, rector of the Berlin University of Psychology (Psychologische Hochschule Berlin);
• Tordis Beltekham, President of the Federal Association of German Psychologists (Bundesverband Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen (BDP);
• Stefan Schulz-Hardt, professor, President of the German Society of Psychologists (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie).

Key speakers highlighted the main areas of modern Ukrainian psychology and psychological practice:

Serhii Maksymenko, director of the H.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, full member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Psychogenetic potential of the individual: methodology and principles".

Tamara Yatsenko , professor of the department of practical psychology of the Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University, full member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Deep-psychological essence of knowing the psyche in its integrity".

Mykola Sliusarevskii, director of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, candidate of psychological sciences. The topic of the report: "Psychological approaches to the study of macrosocial processes: achievements and prospects". 

Oleksandr Bondarenko, head of the Department of Psychology and Tourism of the Kyiv National Linguistic University, full member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. Topic of the report: "Understanding the relationship between science and practice in post-Soviet psychology".

Vitalш Panok, acting academician-secretary of the Department of Psychology and Special Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, director of the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Center of Practical Psychology and Social Work, corresponding member of theNational Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Psychological service as a system of psychological practice in Ukraine".

Yurii Lutsenko, researcher of the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Center of Practical Psychology and Social Work; Johanna Bütcher, professor of clinical psychology and psychiatry at the Berlin University of Psychology (Psychologische Hochschule Berlin), doctor of science, professor. The topic of the report: "Implementation of the joint German-Ukrainian project "НOPE- HELPING TO COPE ".

Ivan Danyliuk, dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Professional training of psychologists in the context of integration into the European educational space".

Mykhailo Kostytskii,  professor of the Department of Philosophy of Law and Legal Logic of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of law, professor. The topic of the report: "Ukrainian legal psychology in the 21st century".

Tetiana Tytarenko, chief researcher of the laboratory of social psychology of personality of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, full member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Personal navigation in traumatic life circumstances: landscapes of life creation".

Lesia Prokhorenko,  director of the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Education and Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences, professor. The topic of the report: "Development and prospects of special psychology in independent Ukraine".

LiubovNaidionova, deputy director for scientific work of the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of psychological sciences. Topic of the report: "The theory of cyber socialization of the child in the era of technological innovations".

In general, the work of the conference was carried out in the following areas (sections):

Section 1. Ukrainian psychological science: achievements, problems, prospects.

Section 2. Psychological practice and applied psychology: current state.

Section 3. Professional training of psychologists in institutions of higher and postgraduate education.

The conference was attended by more than 300 participants - psychologists and educators from all regions of Ukraine, who unanimously noted its content, informativeness and importance for psychological theory and practice.
