On November 9, 2021, the lecture by the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen "Modernization of education in Ukraine in the context of civilizational change" was held for students of advanced training courses of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of the University of Educational Management. Among the audience of participants were: the rector of the State Institution of Higher Education "University of Educational Management" of the NAES of Ukraine Mykola Kyrychenko, members of the administration, directors of institutes, heads of departments and lecturers.

Lecturer - Kremen Vasyl Hryhorovych, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Philosophy, Professor, Full Member (Academician) of the NAS and the NAES of Ukraine , Professor of Philosophy and Adult Education of the Central Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

Professor Vasyl Kremen noted that in the era of social change, the importance of human development is growing due to the transition to a new type of activity, new and information and communication technologies; focused on the impact of general civilizational trends on educational activities. At the end of the lecture there was an interactive reflective debate with an emphasis on the importance of anthropocentrism in the context of the national idea and respect for historical practice and reform of education. The students of the courses expressed their gratitude to the lecturer Vasyl Kremen for the urgency of the raised problems of education, the novelty of the opinion and the outlined own view on the modernization processes in modern society.
