On November 9–13, 2020, the First International Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Status and Prospects of Methodology of Learning the Polish Language at Secondary and Higher Education Institutions” and international advanced training courses for Polonists took place online. Among the organizers - the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Polish Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Foundation for the Development of Bilingualism "EduNova",  Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University, Volyn Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Participants of the event: scientists, teachers of languages ​​and literatures, methodologists, lecturers.

During the seminar, the scientific activity of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the Department of teaching national minority languages ​​and foreign literature and the reports of the researchers of the department have been presented.
