On October 15, the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine reviewed the results of research at the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine on the problems of teaching history and civic education in gymnasiums and lyceums.

The obtained results of the research are a component of the general process of reforming school historical and legal education in main general education school, are reflected in methodical manuals for teachers and lecturers of higher pedagogical institutions, methodical recommendations and letters of MES of Ukraine, introduced into the mass educational practice.
