On September 2, the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen had a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykola Kyzym at the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. 

During the concerned  meeting it was a question of strengthening of functions of the NAES of Ukraine, increasing influence of scientific developments on educational practice and all educational spheres. It was noted the need to reform the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. 

We recall that the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine according to the Statute coordinates, organizes and conducts research in the field of education, pedagogy and psychology, interacts with the central executive body, which ensures the state policy formation and implementation in education and science, state bodies control over the proper quality of education and educational activities, the management of which includes educational institutions, other central executive bodies, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, other national branch academies of sciences, state institutions, organizations, enterprises, educational institutions and public associations of Ukraine, scientific and educational institutions of foreign countries, as well as with international organizations in the field of education and science in order to fulfil the tasks set by state priorities in these areas.
