With the support of the European Commission, the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine will work for the next three years on the introduction of Education European quality for better students performance.
For the second time, the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, among 1447 projects submitted to the contest, was selected for financing the module "European Teaching Excellence for Students’ Better Performance" - 620287-EPP-1-2020-1-UA -EPPJMO-MODULE).
The proposed Jean Monnet module aims using the experience of the EU countries, the most successful in PISA-2018, to improve the performance of Ukrainian students.
During the project implementation (2020–2023), 2 annual summer schools for teachers (1 for teachers of the humanities and 1 for teachers of the natural sciences) will be held, connected with European instruments and the best practices in school education. Dissemination of knowledge and skills acquired in summer schools will take place through the development by teachers of tasks similar to those obtained by students in PISA tests, and their dissemination in 28 schools, which are experimental sites of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.
