The National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine deeply mourns the death of the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, Academician Borys Yevhenovych Paton.

An outstanding scientist, thinker, humanist, a world-class personality, a man who became a legend during his lifetime… It is difficult to find words that would fully reflect the versatility and uniqueness of Boris Paton′s personality.

The name of Borys Paton is one of the first in the pantheon of the most prominent Ukrainians of all time.

Borys Yevhenovych’s colleagues, associates, contemporaries and future generations will remember forever his intellectual victories, the breakthrough technologies created by him and the authority of a man who never made a mistake.

We will always remember that Borys Yevhenovych was one of the initiators of the foundation of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and always supported our activities.

Eternal memory to the great Ukrainian, his great deed and sincere human heart.
