On May 29, 2020, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Improvement of educational process in educational institutions as a basis for socio-cultural growth of children and youth" was held (within the All-Ukrainian festival of science), organized by the Institute of Problems on Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the Kyiv Regional In-Service Teacher Training Institute. The conference was conducted online on the basis of the Municipal Educational Institution "Kyiv Regional In-Service Teacher Training Institute".

The purpose of the Conference was to discuss and to find solutions to topical issues of education of children and students in general secondary, extracurricular and preschool education; elucidation of effective forms, methods, technologies of educational work in modern socio-cultural conditions; identification of ways to improve the educational process in educational institutions as a component of educational process in the context of the ideas of the New Ukrainian School.
