On January 9, 2020, the first meeting of the Board of the All-Ukrainian Association of Vasyl Sukhomlynsky was held at V.O. SukhomyinskyiState Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine, members of which are the well-known scientists: academicians of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine – Olexandra Savchenko, OlhaSukhomlynska, director of V.O. Sukhomyinskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine Larysa Berezivska, director of the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine Olexandr Mikhno and others. The meeting was devoted to summarizing the Association’s activities over the last year and outlining its work for the year 2020.

 At the meeting the issue of the subject of the next XXVII All-Ukrainian pedagogical readings "Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi in Dialogue with Modernity" was raised. It was proposed to discuss the topic "Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi′s ideas through the prism of modern educational practices" as a relevant and interesting to a wide audience of educators.
