On November 20, a round table "Photos as a source of disclosure of school activity in Pavlish: what the ancient photos say" was held at the V.O. Sukhomlinskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine.

The event was attended by teachers of the Berdychiv Comprehensive Collegium No. 14, headed by its director O. Grigortsevich, specialists of the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine, Library’s scientists and Pavlish school leaver 1964 Y. Shvachka.

In her opening address, Director of the Library Laryssa Berezivska noted that the history of the Pavlysh school and Vasyl Sukhomlinsky′s figure are reflected not only in written documents, but also in photos that are of interest to modern researchers as fixed visual images, a peculiar information code. Such documents realistically reflect historical events and phenomena and are a significant component of the source base of scientific research.
