On December, 13 the NAES of Ukraine and the educational community of Ukraine celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. The Institute’s staff, management of the Academy, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, directors of the Institute of Education Content  Modernization, scientific institutions of the NAES of Ukraine, rectors of higher educational institutions of Ukraine, educational community and journalists gathered in the hall of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. 

In his welcoming speech Vasyl Kremen, the President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, thanked the Institute’s staff for the 25-years period work and wished to achieve new successes in solving problems of modern education. Vasyl Kremen stressed: "The Institute has made a worthy contribution to the development of education, domestic pedagogy and the state. Every Institute of the NAES of Ukraine has its own face and functions. There are such indisputable signs in the Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education. First of all, this is the first scientific institution, which was founded in the Academy after its establishment. This meant the development of the Academy. Then the Institute gave an answer to the needs of educational practice in the study of problems of professional pedagogical education in connection with a new time, society’s new needs. And it coped with this task”.
