On November 29, 2018, the International Scientific Conference "Competence of higher educationteacher at the time of changes" was held at the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine according to the results of the project of the International Visegrad Fund "Competences of High School Teachers at the Time of Changes". The conference was attended by Academician-Secretary of the Department of Higher Education of the NAES of Ukraine Professor Petro Saukh, Academician-Secretary of the Department of General Pedagogy and Philosophy of Education of the NAES of Ukraine Professor Svitlana Sysoeva, Head of the Chair of Theory and History of Pedagogy at the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Professor Lyudmila Horuzha, Ukrainian and foreign scientists, representatives of the International Visegrad Fund, research teams of partner countries of the project (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine), Ukrainian Academy of Acmeology.

The first vice-president of the NAES of Ukraine Professor Volodymyr Lugovyi congratulated the participants of the Conference. Is the university teacher ready today to meet the requirements of the time of changes, whether students are satisfied of his appearance, whether he is ready to accompany their professional development, is the correlation of information and search components of the educational process in higher education institutions correct today - the answers to these and other questions were given in Petro Saukh’s report. Ukrainian and foreign participants have analysed the problems of standardizing the activities of high school teachers in the context of improving the quality of education and the results of study the competences of higher education teacher at the time of changes.
