On November 27, 2017, the First Vice-President Volodymyr Luhovyi met with the delegation of the Turkish Republic on the occasion of Presentation of the exhibition of the students creative works of Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University named after Hrigory Skovoroda "Hrigory Skovoroda and Said Nursi: Humanistic Choice of Future". 

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Mr. Yonet Jan Tazel, Director of the Istanbul Foundation for Science and Culture Mr. Said Yuji, Executive Director of the Foundation Mr. Muhamet Cherman, Foundation′s General Coordinator Mr. Hakan Guleretz participated in the meeting; from the Ukrainian side – the Vice-President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Oleg Topuzov, Rector of the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University named after Hrigory Skovoroda Viktor Kotsur, deputy head of the Scientific and Managerial Staff and International Scientific Cooperation Department of the Presidium of the NAES of Ukraine Paraska Dotsenko, head of the Sector of Scientific and Analytical Processing and Distribution information office of the Presidium of the NAES of Ukraine Lidiya Tkachenko. 

During the meeting were discussed the issues of the establishment of Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the sphere of education and science through studying culture, art and traditions of Turkey and Ukraine including philosophy of Hrigory Skovoroda and Said Nursi.
