"If you want to modernize the country, start with education" – the head of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Science in Philosophy, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasil Kremen is convinced. Today, the Academy celebrates its 25th anniversary. After the proclamation of Ukraine′s independence, its experts worked on defining the content, methods and standards of the national education system, creating new school textbooks and teaching aids, and forming the appropriate legislative framework. Currently, academic institutions provide scientific support for the educational reform launched in the country. Vasyl Kremen told in an interview with "Golos Ukrainy" about how to educate an innovative person, to solve a delicate linguistic issue and to reconcile the junior bachelor with a junior specialist.
