On May 25, 2017 the Laboratory of Professional Career of the Institute of vocational education and training of NAES of Ukraine in the framework of the Science Festival held an on-line round table "Career counseling for students in the post-industrial society" dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the National academy of educational science of Ukraine.

Teaching staff of VET schools, universities, educational (research)-methodological VET canters from various regions of Ukraine, representatives of public organizations took part in the round table.

The current issues of theory and practice for vocational guidance and career counseling students were discussed in the framework of the round table. The results of the discussion are reflected in the need to modify socio-economic, humanitarian, psychological and pedagogical significance of vocational guidance and career counseling; generalize experience of scientific-methodological and information support of youth vocational guidance and career counseling; outline the prospects and trends of career guidace and career counseling in Ukraine.
