In the frame of  cooperation of the Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of NAES of Ukraine, the Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, all-Ukrainian Society "Prosvita" named after Taras Shevchenko on February 23, 2015 on the basis of the Literary and Memorial House-Museum of Taras Shevchenko was held a round table "Taras Shevchenko and the national education of the modern teacher”. The round table issues covered actual problems for education and science as the Taras Shevchenko’s heritage in the dimensions of teaching; art pedagogy and pedagogy of art in the works of T.G. Shevchenko; moral and aesthetic education of youth in the creative legacy of T.G. Shevchenko; the views of T.G. Shevchenko on the formation of the national identity; the works of T.G. Shevchenko and the historical consciousness of Ukrainians.
