To guarantee every adult the right to education, the formation of professional knowledge and skills necessary for active creative life, the creation of appropriate conditions for the organization of education throughout life, and in order to expand cooperation with UNESCO, to create conditions for dialogue among cultures and peoples the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Society "Znannya" of Ukraine and the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Association of the People`s Universities (DVV-International) Office in Ukraine under the auspices of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO organize International Days of Adult Education in Ukraine involving organizations and institutions under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, scientific institutions of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, departments of education and science of regional administrations and the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration), NGOs and foundations, scientists from abroad.
