On May 17, 2015Professor Volodymyr Luhovyi,Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogics,the first Vice-president of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine celebrated his anniversary. Scientific achievements of the well known scientist in the field of pedagogics, administration, author and co-author of over 400 scientific and methodical works, one of the founders of universytetology, forsight pedagogics, national expert on higher education reform in Ukraine are highly appreciated in our country and abroad.

By the Presidential Decree Professor Volodymyr Luhovyi was awarded the Order "For Merit" II degreefor his outstanding contribution to the science, strengthening the research potential of Ukraine, conscientious work and professionalism. Simultaneouslyhe was awarded a high distinction of the NAES of Ukraine – The Medal "Hrihoryi Skovoroda".
