On November 10, the 3rd International Congress on Special Education, Psychology and Rehabilitation "Inclusion in the New Ukrainian School: Challenges of the Present" was held at the Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University. The organizers of the event – the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration), Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University, the Institute of Special Pedagogics of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Foundation "Step by step ", the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine.

The participants of the plenary session were congratulated by Marina Poroshenko - Chairman of the Board of Petro Poroshenko’s Charitable Foundation, Pavlo Khobzey - Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Vasyl Kremen - President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Viktor Ohnevyuk - Rector of the Borys Grinchenko University of Kyiv, Vyacheslav Zasenko – Director of the Institute of Special Pedagogics of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Irina Chepchina - chairman of the central board of the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf. More than 600 educators from all regions of Ukraine took part in the congress.
